How would you recommend getting into the industry if I wanted to re train at 31 years old?

Is there a special thermal paste to be used on the thermistor. would a product such as Arctic Silver 5 be suitable?

3 visits in total when could of completed in 1 annd half days by welding over the holes and just cut out the corners of the cable tray so it dont rub through the pipe again saving the customer 12hrs cost of on site work 👍

Love the videos from Uk. I am a hvac tech that deals with a lot of Daikin units as well. I'm out here in the coast of California. I like that you are calm and chill working on these units. I'm totally opposite of that when getting calls on these units. These are a different beast I tell you. Even after a couple Daikin training classes, I still get frustrated when dealing with these units. There are just too many electronics and sensors on these things than I'm used to. Feels real good after you get them up and operating again tho. Sometimes I'm on the job for more than 5-6 hrs troubleshooting these vrv systems. Anyways thanks for sharing your videos and keeping us informed. Keep them coming!

Nah mate you don't spread the heat paste with your finger. You put a bead down the center and it spreads when the board is being tightened down. When you spread it that thin before it gets squished anymore it doesn't attract heat as well and can get on the actual board itself and then cause damage. My company has had a hell of a time with vrfs because they are new in our market and nobody wants to put in the effort to learn. Thanks for the video

Not always having a water source so all I use is a henry hoover with a brush attached to it and it's perfect. Also, when I wash them I have to wait for them to dry before putting them back so I just never wash them. Great video mate

The second thermistor you tested (in the app youve got it on high) i take it thats for the discharge thermistor?

I've had a similar one like that, but with a 3 phase isolator to a VRV that was bolted to a piece of cable tray that was horizontally flat lying on the roof.......it was totally submerged under water due to roof gutters/ gulleys being absolutely blocked after a torrential rain storm.
